A friend recommened me to contact felipe if i was ever going to Playa del Carmen and such a great decision he put together a great birthday boat party for us with tequila tasting and a surprise cake. We had a blast and can defenatly say besides the nightlife tour he hooked us up with, the catamaran tour was just amazing.

Fantastic birthday party with amazing friends in Playa del Carmen. The yacht we chartered was amazing! Food was included, we did some snorkeling and ended with amazing Mexican food.

I don't normally do reviews, but I really think these guys deserve one. As soon as we reached the dock, Felipe was really welcoming and I straight away thought this was going to be money well spent, and it was. We felt really looked after without being smothered, and the stuff we saw was amazing, I really don't think we would have been that lucky if it wasn't for the guys that took us.... the trip and food were amazing, exactly what we wanted, they were almost mind readers! All in all a great day, I would definitely recommend these guys, it makes me want to go back there tomorrow!

We decided to get a catamaran with Playa Yachting and aside from the great service and attention they really created a great closing to our vacation with a wine tasting on board. My friends and I were happy we decided to go with them.

MUST DO IN PLAYA!!! Fun, exciting and classy. I normally don't write reviews and I don't like party boats, I was hesitant to go at first, BUT I had the best time!!! the boat was super nice, the drinks were so tasty and well crafted, the ambiance was fun and sexy and the tour guides were super friendly and made sure everyone was safe while encouraging us to let loose and enjoy the experience. I highly recommend that you ask for Felipe, he's the absolute best!!!!!!

So I usually never do the whole review thing because it takes time but when Its a good business I make time! I just had my bachelorette party here and let me say me and all of my girl friends had the best time I hope my wedding tops this hahah well.. anyways! we had such great service reservations where on time they have great costumer service answered all of my questions in advanced and people are so nice! Also the food was great it really gave the Latin experience I wanted my friends to get thank you guys for your service I hope more people have a great time like we al did!!

Our day out on the water with Playa Yachting was the highlight of our vacation. Everything from the yacht, snorkeling, fishing, great music and mean cocktails far exceeded our expectations. Above all, the awesome crew made the day especially memorable. Friendly, helpful and always making sure everyone was having a blast. We did a non private catamaran tour with my friends to Isla Mujeres and it was just simply amazing. We had a great sightseeing with turtles and a lot of fun. The guys took so good care of us. We didn´t have to worry about anything just enjoy. Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience Playa Yachting Team!!!

We was a group of 4 friends, we rented a yacht and discovered cancun and some island "isla mujeres" "cozumel". It was so much fun and worth the money, all crew members helpful, friendly and profesional.

What a wonderful day out at sea. Our boat was amazing and the staff was very polite and amiable. My kids and I loved the snorkeling since we got to see some amazing fish as we explored the ocean depths. The food was delightful and spread out throughout our experience. We had ceviche, freshly prepared during our swimming session and then had yummy hamburgers to finish off the day. The drinks were also fabulous, specially since the boat's personnel started handing them to us as soon as we got on board. We are definitely chartering another yacht again on our next visit. <br /><br />What an astonishing experience thanks to the Playa Yachting welcoming staff!!!!

We got the chance to see Playa and surrounding environments from the seaside which was really different. We had a great time with Felipe our tour guide and the crew of the yacht, very professional and fun at the same time. They improvise to make some of our favorite cocktails which it was just great to enjoy a sunny day with the girls out in the Riviera Maya.

I went on a catamaran with my wife, and we had a fantastic time. We met a lot of great people and enjoyed some delicious food and drinks. The staff on the boat was very courteous and helped us with anything we needed. We highly recommend this and will go back whenever we are back in Playa. :)

We were picked up from our hotel by our yacht guide who actually became our personal tour guide for our whole trip. We booked in advance with Felipe who was so easy to work with. We wanted to do a snorkeling experience most of all. With 7 of us we rented a small yacht. The boat was very nice and the crew very friendly. We got to see stingrays and a ton of fish. It was by far the highlight of our vacation. Highly recommend it!

I was in the area on business and decided to treat myself to a short vacay (it's not often my company sends me to sunny destinations), so I decided to extend my stay by a few days and check out Playa. A buddy advised to visit if I ever had the chance, so I finally did. Couldn't have been more delighted with my stay. Met Felipe, and I can't say enough about the guy. Excellent guide and a pretty solid dude, plus he filled me in on what's what in Playa. Small world...He used to live in Denver, and so did I..If you have the time, check out Playa Yachting. We hired our own private catamaran while in Playa del Carmen and we just loved the experience. We tried great ceviche and drinks on board, the crew even brought us a suprise cake. It truly was the perfect birthday party!

We had a difficult time figuring what to do in playa for my friends bachelorette party. One friend suggested doing the private catamaran which was an amazing suggestion. We had a relaxing time with drinks, tanning and music cruising the Riviera Maya ocean. It was great and the crew was very professional and provided wonderful service. Our friend was getting married and we wanted to celebrate in style. We decided to rent a yacht and party at sea. We had a premium open bar for 25 of us, ceviche and hamburgers for lunch. It was 5 hour tour and it was a blast! Highly recommend this!!!

We all flew down to Playa from different parts of the world to celebrate our friend's birthday and we were looking for something different to do than just a birthday dinner. We decided to do a boat trip and after reading all the great reviews we decided to go with Playa Yachting. It was amazing! It was beyond our expectations and I highly recommend it. The service, the fun staff and whole trip was perfect! I know what I'll be trying to organize for my birthday next year!

Best experience ever! We had a fun time on a yacht we rented to tour Cozumel "cielito lindo" area. Everything was perfect from the crew, to the delicious lunch, the snorkeling, karaoke and jumping from the boat was super fun! Our hosts were very gracious, everything was perfectly organized and much more fun than I had expected (which is saying a lot given the nature of the excursion). The team delivered exceptional service and and even had a special gift for our group. I would totally recommend this for those who want a fun, lively trip but not an all out "party boat". Truly, no better way I would've spent my day!

We rented 4 hours of the luxury yacht and wow!!! Luis and the crew did an amazing job from beginning to end and I have to admit, my group of 19 girls was a bit crazy. They kept the tequila shots coming, the food was amazing, (so much better than our hotel food at Riviera Maya Colonial), and they took good care of us. Felipe also kept in contact with me via WhatsApp throughout the entire trip to ensure we were satisfied. I highly recommend! They are affordable yet luxurious (doesn't look like a fishing boat lol)

Me and my friends decided to rent a yacht for my friend who getting married and so happened to have his birthday on the same trip. So we are excited about it thinking this will be a fun trip. We rent a cruiser yacht and what you may picture in your head is totally different than what we seen. It was basically a fisherman's boat. The ad claimed to fit 10 people that must have included them crew men working as well because it was 6 of us and barely any space on the deck. The crewmen uniforms looked rather dingy and unkempt. The driver eyes were pretty blood shot might be heavy drinker but trying not to judge. We get on the boat and before we can make it out of the bay. I notice boat barely making it. Then bam it stalls. The driver says Oh we are out of oil. So there 3 party yachts the kind u would imagine with tons of people on them and here we are the little tug boat that couldn't stalled in the water. The younger crew guy dives into water to get oil from another boat. We sit there while he attempts to offer us beer as if that will appease us. Also they said unlimited beer and it was maybe 12 in the cooler and not ice to make mix drinks. Anyway, he retrieves the oil and driver tries fixing it before something happens and he is covered in oil. At this point he explains he can't even make it back or else boat will start smoking. I can't swim but he gets closer as possible to the rocks and we all had to jump into the water and walk back to the beach, which I ended up cutting my foot on the rocks!! It was totally embarrassing and ruined the trip/gift. Of course we were refunded but the owner of the boat swore nothing like this ever happened. But once on the boat it was clear no maintenance was done prior to our arrival and we booked a week in advance. I would not recommend this company to anyone. You will be throwing away your money. 3 party boats came from Cancun adventures go with them. Or you will live to regret it.

We recently enjoyed a great day out with this company. very efficient process from the outset. Easy to book, good communicators and efficient transfer from hotel to boat. <br />There were 7 of us and we rented the 48ft motor yacht.<br />Great welcome from the crew, spotlessly clean brilliant lunch and great refreshing frozen cocktails.<br />Cant recommend this high enough.<br />We will definitely be booking again for next year.

This was such an amazing time! It was the highlight of our vacation in Playa del Carmen. The crew was very accommodating and knowledgeable. All in all, from reserving to the end of our tour it was seamless. On the tour, we saw a ton of cool stuff from stingrays, turtles, and other fishes. We went to "Cielito" I think is called, in Cozumel on a private yacht. Also, the lunch was delish. You must do this if you're in Playa del Carmen or the Mayan Riviera!! We'll certainly be back for another yachting adventure on our next holiday trip.

This was our second outing on a private yacht with Playa Yachting. It did not disappoint! Both times the crew was phenomenal, the boat was fabulous, food was so tasty and the drinks flowed! We played music, enjoyed snorkeling where we saw colorful fish, stingrays, and turtles, played games in the water and on the boat and even spent some time just chilling out. I love that this is a private outing instead of being on a boat with 25 other strangers. We plan to make this an annual trip! Thanks for the amazing time!

We had a wonderful time on the yacht. It was spacious. The crew was very attentive. They made us drinks and food included. <br />We went snorkeling and had a guide in the water with us to point out the turtles and the stingrays!<br />Don’t hesitate to book with them, they are great!<br />We also got to paddle board!

We spent an amazing morning with Playa Yatching in Playa del Carmen. Captain Luis and David were just great, also they make THE best Margarita in Playa. We had a great time.

The family together with excited teenagers wanted some fun, so we hired Playa Yachting's adventure yacht for our day trip! Nothing beats the sun, sea, delicious food and free MOET! Will surely be back again! I have asked if they catered for company parties too and yes they DO! I can't wait to celebrate with friends and coworkers the next time.

Last minute, they upgraded us from an adventure yacht to a bigger and more luxurious 51' Sea Ray. My guests and I had such an amazing time - Mexican food, unlimited tequila and the ocean. We booked this trip especially for a girls hen party, and there were 8 of us in total. <br />From the initial stage of enquiry, to following through on our requests, the staff were amazing and very accommodating. My friends and I chartered a private boat for our last of a 6-day retreat to Tulum, Mexico. This yachting company and their 4-man crew (sorry... don’t recall the name of the boat) provided us with every possible amenity, professional and experienced guidance and care, and just an all around WONDERFUL time during our 4-hour charter. Holy sh&t, I'm not sure if I'm allowed to start off a review like that but this was literally the most fun I have EVER had on my birthday! From beginning to end, the planning process was pretty seamless and the yacht coordinator was extremely responsive via WhatsApp.<br /><br />The day of the yacht excursion itself we were a group of 14 that were picked up from our Airbnb and brought back for a reasonable price. The yacht experience itself was AMAZING. As promised there was unlimited alcohol and food. A turtle snorkel event that we decided not to take part in because it was a bit overcast. However, when we stationed the yacht in the middle of the sea we partied our butts off for four consecutive hours.<br /><br />Leaving the friendly and attentive yacht crew was definitely tough. They took the best care of us and were so hospitable. <br /><br />TAKE. ME. BACK.

Our group of 12 friends rented a catamaran in playa del Carmen for 5 hrs. This was the most fun we possibly could have had!! The crew was knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They pretty much catered to our every need. I can not say enough about them. As soon as we left the dock, we were offered drinks and our cups never went empty for the rest of the day. When we arrived at our snorkelling spot, we were welcomed by turtles and HUGE rays, pelicans and many fish. BEAUTIFUL! Then we sailed to a sandy bay where we were offered freshly made shrimp ceviche and guac on a FLOATING buffet! Perfection. When the crew finally got us all back on the boat, we ate delicious hamburgers with all the fixings. I would definitely recommend this activity to anyone who is thinking about a day on the sea.<br />Thanks for an amazing memory!!

Warning: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS ORGANIZATION. <br /><br />They are very unprofessional people within this organization. Not one person, crew, manager, sales person will take fault for the multiple things that went wrong.<br />1. The first rounds of drinks had a weird melted foam taste. <br />2. Ran out of vodka after only one round of drinks. Eight professional adults only having one vodka and soda. <br />3. Took about 45 minutes to anchor the boat while almost running into other boats in the snorkeling area. <br />4. The company told us the boat was equipped with proper snorkeling gear. That is inaccurate information. They had a variety of snorkels that leaked, flippers that were broken, and no two same size flippers. <br />5. The vest I picked up out of the storage cabinet had roaches on it. Not one but 6 roaches about 3 inches big. <br />6. The snorkeling area was decent but it was too sandy with the current condition. That is fine but they should have gave us a heads up and not “promise” we would see sea turtles. <br /><br />After all this, the group of people I with, decided to cut our loses and end the trip two hours early. When talking to management about the problems that occurred, they didn’t seem to care about the costumer. This is very unacceptable, especially since the tourism industry has taken a massive loss over the last year. Many companies would go above and above to earn your business but not this company. They wouldn’t even refund a partial of the money paid because of the experience. <br /><br />I usually do not write reviews but my experience was so bad, I wanted other costumers to know and beware of what you are getting when you book with this company.

I will start by saying whatever you do, do NOT BOOK with this company. We had an amazing time in puerto aventuras and this was the ONLY thing that wen't wrong. We spent $1300 for a 4 hour boat cruise promised appetizers, cocktails and snorkeling. <br /><br />Our tour started with a very young guy leading us to the boat who we were told speaks no english, okay fine. We arrive to the boat which looks NOTHING like the photos, much older, not very clean and very musty smelling in the cabin down below where the drinks are. Upon getting to the boat we are asked what we'd like to drink. We said we'd take a round of vodka sodas with limes. Our drinks came in the tiniest almost yellow styrofoam cups that smelled very odd and no limes were available. I'm sorry but if you're paying $1300 for 4 hours and promised cocktails, I expect more than a vodka soda in styrofoam. To make things worse, they ran out of club soda after only 4 drinks (there were 8 in our group). The drinks tasted off and we then began to worry if the ice was made from filtered water or not. Due to language barrier it seemed no one from the crew could understand what we were saying/asking but eventually said yes it was okay to drink. <br /><br />By the time we got to the snorkel area it was about an hour into our trip. Once arriving the crew took over 45 minutes to anchor the boat and throughout that time we came very close to hitting other very large yachts etc. No one was communicating with us what the issues was. They finally get anchored which was far from the actual snorkel site, and ask who would like to snorkel. We all say yes but when it comes to getting the gear out, it's all tucked away and appears it hasn't been touched in months. Many of the life jackets smelled terrible. Most of them were for children and a few of them were more like life preserves that you'd throw out in case of emergency, not the normal nice life jackets you'd expect. To top it off one of the life jackets was pulled out and had about 5 COCKROACHES on it which was absolutely mortifying. We get passed that and ask for flippers for everyone which they weren't even offering at first. There's flippers for only about half of us and we're told we have to swim about 40 yards to the snorkel area... and remember it's super windy and the waves are very large/choppy. <br /><br />We return from an unpleasant snorkeling experience and immediately as the crew to take us back as we have no interest in continuing on this dirty boat where we often retrieved our own beers (as that's all they had left to drink other than tequila and were unable to even make us margaritas) and overall just felt unsafe. We arrived back an hour earlier than we should have and keep in mind it took an hour +/- to get to snorkel area, 45 minutes to anchor and then 45 minutes back. We were in water for maybe 30 minutes and were gone for barely 3 of our 4 hours. <br /><br />We requested a partial refund given the lack of equipment available which was completely unacceptable and just frankly unsafe, plus the fact that the equipment they did have was NOT SANITARY what so ever and lastly the fact that this was presented to us as a luxury boat ride but nothing about this was luxurious what so ever. <br /><br />The company tried to make us come back the next day to sign paperwork for a 50% refund, we refused to return and told them they would have to come to our villa which they did. Upon arrival they said they would not do 50% refund and would only refund 10% of the second half payment which came to a whopping $70 bucks maybe, <br /><br />Save your time and your money, do NOT book with this company. Unfortunately times are hard with covid and I think that has made companies stoop pretty low when it comes to customer service and what they try to get away with.

So much fun!!!! Booked a private yacht with some friends. Staff was very friendly and informative. Several life jackets available. Had speakers for us to play music. If we’re ever back in town, will definitely book again.

The team at Playa Yachting is A+++. We rented the 80ft yacht to take our wedding party out on the day before our wedding and it was the PERFECT outing! All of the communication leading up to the event was amazing and upon arrival, the PY crew welcomed us in a very organized fashion. We had the best time on board including 5 star service from the crew! The lunch they provided was delicious, the drinks were flowing and the cove we went to to swim / snorkel at was so lovely. I work in entertainment for A-list celebs and would book any of my clients with Playa Yachting in the future! Cannot recommend them enough!

We went through Playa Yachting yesterday. They were amazing!! The crew was very attentive and showed us a good time. The drinks were going down well and the lunch they prepared was delicious! We even caught a small tuna and they made ceviche for us….to die for so fresh! We had some rays and one small turtle swim with us as well as a few of the other tropical fish that are on the reef that they took us to. This is my second trip on this boat with this company and it won’t be my last. Thank you for a good time!!!

Thank you for hosting our family, we had a great time. The chef made a delicious lunch from the menu we choose and the crew was very attentive with drinks and with everyone. The customer service outstanding as well. They answer all of my questions and was always communicating with me to make everything flow easy.

The scenery was fantastic. The crew was fantastic. The food was phenomenal. We had an amazing time. We had nine girls on a bachelorette, and everyone said it was the best activity. We did the whole entire trip.

We had an amazing time during our half-day (4 hours) yacht trip! The food was delicious (ceviche and guacamole) and there was definitely an open bar. The boat crew members were both fun and helpful. The sunset we were able to watch from the boat was truly magical. We had a great time during this boat cruise and I would definitely recommend it!

We had a fishing trip on the last day of the year and it was amazing. The crew was super nice and we ended up catching a massive grouper and three snappers. They had ice for the beers and the boat was great. Took us snorkeling to a beautiful lagoon where I saw the biggest sting ray of my life probably.

You just can't put a more perfect package together. The reservation process was smooth like silk with every imaginable question asked to ensure the experience captured everything we wanted. The food, the service the scenery...exceptional all around. The crew, Davey, Armando, Gabrielle, y Juan, worked very hard to make every moment special. The snorkeling experience was also incredible. Great time on the boat with our close friends and family. The ride was smooth and the boat was spacious for all eleven of us. The crew was amazing, super friendly and made the best guacamole, chicken, salsa for us after we finished snorkeling. Will definitely use them again when we return!

We had an amazing time. There where 13 of us ranging from 75 to 8. The crew took care of all of our needs and proved such an awesome adventure. They also help set up our transportation.

They were absolutely amazing from the booking process to the actual excursion! The food also kept warm and was very delicious. The boat was spacious and so nice. The captain and crew also made it very fun and enjoyable for my entire party. I will definitely recommend to any and everyone!

We had the time of our life. The crew was so friendly and attentive. The water was so blue and beautiful. A great opportunity to take some amazing pictures. We bought a case to take our phone underwater for the snorkeling. The fish came right up to you. I would recommend them to everyone. It was a great way to end our trip to Cancun. I will definitely be taking a trip with them next year when we come to Cancun.

We took the catamaran with 13 of my friends and it was incredible! They bring you out to a party cove with other boats to swim, snorkel, etc and they have the open bar the entire time plus snacks. It was our favorite day of our trip! Just be aware to either pay in cash or clarify if you’re paying on a credit card, which comes with a fee

Awesome time! We rented out the 46ft catamaran for a bachelorette party! Miguel was so helpful with coordination of transportation and dealing with weather. The group had a wonderful time and the crew (Deyvi, Armando, Marcos, and Juan) were so great! They tended to all our needs. This was the highlight of the trip. The drinks were endless and the snacks were great. Snorkeling was so fun! Felt so safe! Highly recommend. Thank you!
